The Wheaton French Market will kick off its 2022 season on Saturday, April 9 in a temporary location while crews work to complete the new Downtown Streetscape pavilion on Liberty Drive. The temporary location will be on Liberty between Cross and Reber and on Reber between Liberty and Willow, in front of the old DuPage County Courthouse. The market will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday from April 9 through Oct. 29, 2022. For the last few weeks of the market season, Nov. 5 through 26, the market will have shorter hours, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This popular outdoor market run by Bensidoun USA is styled after the quaint outdoor markets of France, offering fresh produce, flowers, handcrafted goods, specialty foods, jewelry, crafts, baked goods and much more. Vendors often change throughout the season, so visitors will find different items each week.

Once the pavilion structure is complete (which is anticipated later this spring), the market will move under the pavilion structure along Liberty Drive between Main and Cross Streets, just south of the railroad tracks. This pavilion structure is one of the key amenities being added through the City’s Downtown Streetscape Project, a four-year infrastructure project investing in both underground and above-ground utilities and amenities in downtown Wheaton.

Vendors interested in hosting a booth at the French Market should submit an application through Bensidoun USA.
