ZBA Chairman Kartholl tabled the Kerry Farms rezoning meeting until 1/5/23 and advised it would be a “status only” meeting. Winfield & West Chicago may be contesting the Kerry Farms rezoning request. Neither town had representation at the meeting. WC may have a pre-annexation agreement in place. Kartholl stated he also requires advisement from the State’s Attorneys office prior to considering the rezoning petition. While public comments were not read at this meeting they are recorded in the minutes and taken into consideration by the ZBA. ZBA voted 7-0 in favor of the postponement. West-Win representatives and residents as well as Trillium residents were in attendance.
